English Version: Solana Foundation Names Strategy and Payments Leaders for Institutional Expansion
The Solana Foundation announced on 24 September 2026 that Rachel Conlan will serve as Chief Strategy Officer and Jamal Raees as General Manager of Payments. The appointments focus on institutional partnerships and broader use of blockchain payment infrastructure.
Conlan previously served as Binance’s global chief marketing officer and will lead strategy and ecosystem adoption. Raees, formerly of Polygon Labs, Bridge and Wyre, will work with payment companies and enterprises. The announcement concerns organizational leadership and does not change the network protocol.
The foundation states that Solana has handled more than $5 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026 and has over $4.5 billion in real-world assets on the network. These are the foundation’s figures, not a promise of investment returns or future token value. Digital assets can be volatile and investors may lose capital.
