Coinbase and Moov Bring Stablecoin Rails to Community Banks
Coinbase and Moov are partnering to embed stablecoin acceptance, settlement and real-time funding into payment systems already used by more than 1,000 community banks and credit unions. Coinbase will provide regulated digital-asset infrastructure, custody accounts and payment APIs, while Moov will connect those capabilities to existing financial institutions.
The partnership is designed to support consumer payments, merchant acceptance, settlement and payouts without requiring each bank to build a separate crypto stack. The initiative illustrates how stablecoins may become part of mainstream payment infrastructure, although customers should still review fees, legal protections and availability before using any service.
