Coinbase adds RLUSD access across three networks; global-exchange expansion remains ahead
Ripple announced on 28 October 2026 that RLUSD is available through Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase’s retail app. Inclusion in the announcement does not mean identical access for every account or jurisdiction.
The release describes 1:1 conversion from US dollars and supported dollar stablecoins, with deposits and withdrawals on XRP Ledger, Base and Ethereum. Users need to match the network and receiving address and check actual account eligibility and fees.
Access for Coinbase Global Exchange clients, including collateral use, is described as a later expansion. It should not be presented as already fully launched. Same-day reporting by The Block and Reuters corroborates the Coinbase integration.
Dollar referencing does not remove issuer, redemption, liquidity, platform, network or depegging risks. This report explains service support, rather than recommending a token purchase or guaranteeing principal or returns.
