กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยาระบุในพยากรณ์ประจำวันที่ 2 ตุลาคม 2569 ว่าประเทศไทยมีแนวโน้มฝนเพิ่มขึ้น ประชาชนควรเผื่อเวลาเดินทาง ระวังถนนลื่น น้ำขังระยะสั้น และหลีกเลี่ยงพื้นที่โล่งขณะเกิดฟ้าคะนอง
ภาพรวมอากาศวันนี้ยังอยู่ภายใต้อิทธิพลของลมมรสุมและลมที่ปกคลุมอ่าวไทย ทำให้ฝนเกิดได้หลายภูมิภาค แม้แต่ละพื้นที่อาจมีช่วงฝนไม่พร้อมกัน ผู้เดินทางจึงควรตรวจเรดาร์ฝนและประกาศจังหวัดก่อนออกจากบ้าน
