Tether Gold reports approximately 25.7 tonnes of Q3 backing
Tether published a Tether Gold update on 4 November reporting approximately 25.7 tonnes of physical gold backing XAU₮ at the end of the third quarter. Its stated value was about $3.44 billion. These figures refer to 30 September 2026, rather than live holdings or gold prices on the date of this news report.
The issuer reported 827,417.630 fine troy ounces of gold and an equal circulating token quantity, under a structure linking one token to one fine troy ounce. It said the gold was stored in Switzerland and physical reserves had risen roughly 59% since the end of 2025. These are attributed company disclosures, not a claim that this newsroom independently inspected every bar.
