Ethereum Foundation เผยประกาศวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2569 ว่า แผนอัปเกรด Glamsterdam บนเครือข่ายทดสอบ Hoodi ซึ่งเดิมกำหนดวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม ถูกเลื่อนออกไปโดยยังไม่กำหนดวันเปิดใช้งานใหม่ หลังผู้พัฒนาหลักต้องการตรวจสอบปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างข้อเสนอ EIP-8037 กับสมาร์ตคอนแทรกต์บน Mainnet เพิ่มเติม
การปรับกำหนดการครั้งนี้ไม่ได้ย้อนประวัติธุรกรรมหรือข้อมูลเดิมของเครือข่าย Hoodi แต่เป็นการยกเลิกจุดเปิดใช้งานการเปลี่ยนแปลงในกำหนดการเดิม ทั้งฝั่ง Execution Layer และ Consensus Layer รวมถึงแผนเพิ่ม Gas Limit เป็น 200 ล้านในจุดเดียวกัน
ผู้ดูแลโหนดและ Validator ที่ใช้ Hoodi ควรตรวจสอบรุ่นซอฟต์แวร์ของทั้งสองเลเยอร์โดยอ่าน Release Notes ที่ระบุชัดว่าลบกำหนดเปิดใช้งานเดิมแล้ว เพื่อป้องกันการตั้งค่าคลาดเคลื่อนระหว่างการทดสอบ ส่วนนักพัฒนาแอปไม่ควรวางแผนทดสอบกับกำหนดเดิมอีก

Ethereum postpones Glamsterdam on Hoodi beyond 26 October
The Ethereum Foundation announced on 22 October 2026 that Glamsterdam will not activate on the Hoodi testnet on its previously scheduled date of 26 October. No new activation date has been set while developers investigate EIP-8037’s interactions with mainnet smart contracts.
The change removes the future execution- and consensus-layer activation settings and the associated plan to raise Hoodi’s gas limit to 200 million. It changes the configuration for a future upgrade; it does not reverse Hoodi’s existing chain history.
Hoodi node and validator operators should check both layers’ client release notes for explicit confirmation that the old activation schedule has been removed. Application developers should likewise stop planning tests around the previous date.
The notice concerns Hoodi only. It does not announce an Ethereum mainnet activation date or require action from ordinary ETH holders. Testnet progress does not predict asset prices; crypto holdings remain exposed to price volatility and other investment risks.
