Binance says replenishment reaches 98%, expands reserve snapshot to 44 tokens
In its November 4 security-recovery update #7, Binance said it had replenished approximately 98% of affected assets using company funds. It said the remaining low-liquidity tokens still needed market or over-the-counter purchases. These figures are company claims, not an independent newsroom audit.
Binance reported a Proof of Reserves snapshot covering 44 tokens, up from 10, at 08:00 UTC+8 on November 4—07:00 in Thailand. It separately estimated 50–60 hours to generate the complete zero-knowledge proof. Taking a snapshot and completing that proof are different steps.
The announcement still describes work to restore all withdrawals, rather than confirming normal service for every account or network. Users should check the relevant service status. A reserve snapshot is not a full financial audit and does not remove custody, cybersecurity or liquidity risk. This report makes no investment recommendation.
