Overwatch’s November update combines Taking Reign with reporting improvements
Blizzard’s 3 November 2026 Overwatch patch notes schedule Taking Reign for 3 November–7 December alongside improvements to gameplay-sabotage detection. Free rewards and premium upgrade paths have separate conditions that players should review.
The developer describes improved detection of deliberate non-participation, repeatedly jumping off maps and blocking team progress. Notification Hub thank-you messages can appear when disruptive-behaviour reports lead to appropriate action. This does not mean every report immediately results in punishment.
The OWCS World Finals Cheer Rally follows a different schedule: gameplay challenges run from 24 November to 7 December, with additional Cheers from official broadcasts on 2–6 December. Those later activities should not be presented as already fully available today. Check the current in-game event page for reward eligibility.
