Worlds 2026 Swiss draw sets Gen.G–IG and G2–DK opening matches
The League of Legends Worlds 2026 Swiss draw was held on 18 October after the Play-In stage. Gen.G will face Invictus Gaming, G2 Esports meets Dplus KIA, and Anyone’s Legend takes on Karmine Corp, bringing major cross-region contests into the opening round.
The remaining pairings are Team Liquid Alienware–CTBC Flying Oyster, Hanwha Life Esports–Top Esports, LØS–T1, Team Secret Whales–LYON and Bilibili Gaming–Movistar KOI. Sheep Esports lists all eight pairings. Match order may still change, so viewers should recheck Riot’s schedule.
Sixteen Swiss participants compete for eight Knockout places. Three wins secure qualification and three losses mean elimination. Opening matches are best-of-one; advancement and elimination series are best-of-three. Teams cannot face opponents from their own region in Round 1, but that restriction ends from Round 2.
Riot schedules the opening round for 23 October at 12:00 CDT in Allen, Texas: midnight entering 24 October in Thailand. Swiss Pick’Ems opens after Play-In and locks before the first Swiss match. Thai viewers should use the local calendar date when setting reminders and check regional eligibility for prediction rewards.
