พื้นที่เฝ้าระวังฝนหนักจะเปลี่ยนไปตามช่วงเวลาในสัปดาห์นี้ กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยาออกประกาศฉบับที่ 5 หมายเลข 264/2569 เมื่อ 19 ตุลาคม เวลา 05.00 น. ระบุว่า วันที่ 19–20 ตุลาคม ภาคใต้และภาคตะวันออกจะมีฝนต่อเนื่อง พร้อมฝนหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง
จากนั้นช่วง 21–25 ตุลาคม พื้นที่ฝนเพิ่มจะครอบคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคกลาง รวมกรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ตอนบน โดยบางพื้นที่อาจมีฝนหนักถึงหนักมากและลมกระโชกแรง การเตือนนี้เป็นแนวโน้มหลายวัน ไม่ได้หมายความว่าทุกจังหวัดจะมีฝนหนักตลอดช่วง
กรมอุตุฯ อธิบายว่าร่องมรสุมที่พาดผ่านภาคใต้ตอนล่างจะขยับขึ้น ขณะเดียวกันมวลอากาศสูงระลอกใหม่จากจีนจะแผ่ลงมา ประชาชนบริเวณทางน้ำผ่านใกล้เชิงเขาและพื้นที่ลุ่มควรเฝ้าระวังน้ำป่า น้ำท่วมฉับพลัน และดินถล่มจากฝนสะสม รวมทั้งตรวจเส้นทางก่อนเดินทาง
ประกาศเตือนระบุว่าคลื่นในบริเวณฝนฟ้าคะนองของอันดามันและอ่าวไทยอาจสูงเกิน 3 เมตร จึงควรหลีกเลี่ยงแนวพายุ ส่วนพยากรณ์รายวันเช้า 19 ตุลาคมระบุกรุงเทพฯ มีฝน 70% ของพื้นที่ ข่าวนี้ใช้ประกาศเช้าและภาพเรดาร์ประกอบ โดยฉบับเตือนถัดไปมีกำหนด 17.00 น.; ภาพเรดาร์ไม่ใช่หลักฐานยืนยันน้ำท่วมรายจุด
Thailand issues two-phase heavy-rain warning through 25 October
Thailand’s heavy-rain risk will shift during the coming week. The Thai Meteorological Department issued advisory No. 5, reference 264/2026, at 05:00 on 19 October. It forecasts persistent rain with isolated heavy to very heavy falls in the South and East on 19–20 October.
From 21–25 October, increasing rain is forecast across the lower Northeast, Central region including Bangkok and neighbouring provinces, the East and upper South. Some locations may experience heavy to very heavy rain and gusts. This multi-day outlook does not mean every province will face continuous heavy rain.
TMD links the change to a northward movement of the monsoon trough and a new Chinese high-pressure system. Communities near foothill waterways and low-lying areas should monitor accumulated-rain risks, including flash floods, runoff and landslides, and check routes before travelling.
The advisory warns of waves exceeding three metres inside thunderstorms in the Andaman Sea and Gulf. Boats should avoid those cells. Separately, the morning daily bulletin forecasts 70% rain coverage for Bangkok. This report uses the morning advisory and radar context; the next advisory is scheduled for 17:00. Radar imagery alone does not confirm local flooding.
