Tether’s Q3 report shows $7.95 billion of assets above liabilities at quarter-end
Tether’s report released on 30 October 2026 lists approximately $191.45 billion in reserve assets against $183.50 billion in liabilities at 30 September. The roughly $7.95 billion excess is an accounting surplus in the report, not a statement that it is all segregated cash.
The company reports $1.5 billion of Q3 net operating profit and $4.5 billion across the first three quarters. It cites Treasury bills and reverse repos as the main income sources, with $132.4 billion in direct and indirect Treasury exposure.
BDO’s ISAE 3000R assurance concerns the specified financial figures and reserves report at that date, not other dates or times. It should not be presented as continuous assurance or a substitute for a full financial-statement audit.
