ประกาศล่าสุดจาก LoL Esports กำหนดช่วงรับสมัครระหว่างวันที่ 27 สิงหาคม–9 กันยายน รอบ Open Round แข่งขันวันที่ 12–13 กันยายน และรอบ Knockout Round ขยายเป็นหกวัน ระหว่างวันที่ 15–20 กันยายน ทีมที่สนใจควรอ่านคุณสมบัติและกติกาจากหน้าทางการก่อนส่งใบสมัคร เพราะรอบนี้เปิดเฉพาะทีมที่มีสิทธิ์ตามเงื่อนไขของภูมิภาค
โครงสร้าง Open Round ยังคงใช้การแข่งขันสองวันเพื่อหาแปดทีมผ่านเข้าสู่รอบน็อกเอาต์ ส่วนรอบ Knockout Round จะมีทั้งหมด 12 ทีม โดยอีกสี่ที่นั่งเป็นทีมวางที่เข้ารอบสองโดยตรง ได้แก่ รองแชมป์รอบคัดเลือกอินโดนีเซีย–มาเลเซีย–สิงคโปร์, รองแชมป์ฟิลิปปินส์, รองแชมป์ประเทศไทย และแชมป์ THE DIFF 2026 จากอินโดนีเซีย

นอกจากทีมจากไทยที่มีคุณสมบัติจะสมัคร LCQ ได้แล้ว รองแชมป์ Thailand Qualifier ยังได้รับทางลัดเข้าสู่รอบสองของ Knockout Round ตามรูปแบบใหม่ ทำให้ผลงานในรอบคัดเลือกประเทศไทยมีความหมายเพิ่มขึ้น และเพิ่มช่องทางของผู้เล่นไทยในการไปต่อสู่ระดับ LCP
ผู้ชนะ LCQ จะได้ไปแข่ง Wild Card Playoffs ซึ่งประกาศล่าสุดเลื่อนไปเป็นวันที่ 10–13 ตุลาคม จากนั้นแชมป์เพลย์ออฟจะเป็นตัวแทนกลุ่ม Wild Card เข้าแข่งขัน LCP Promotion Series เพื่อชิงตำแหน่งใน LCP ฤดูกาลถัดไป

LCP 2026 Wild Card opens its final Southeast Asian qualifier with a direct path for Thailand’s runner-up
Registration for the LCP 2026 Wild Card Regional Last Chance Qualifier is open until September 9. The updated format expands the Knockout Round to 12 teams and grants direct second-round entry to the runner-up from the Thailand Qualifier.
The Open Round is scheduled for September 12–13, followed by a six-day Knockout Round from September 15–20. Eight teams will advance from the open stage. Four additional teams will enter the second knockout round directly: the runners-up from the Indonesia–Malaysia–Singapore, Philippines and Thailand qualifiers, plus the winner of Indonesia’s THE DIFF 2026 community event.
The LCQ winner will move on to the Wild Card Playoffs, now scheduled for October 10–13. The playoff champion will represent the Wild Card regions in the LCP Promotion Series and compete for a place in the league next season.
Riot’s June overview listed earlier dates for part of the competition, while the August 27 announcement contains the revised schedule and expanded field. Players should therefore rely on the newest official notice and check the tournament page again before competing.
