Lamphun confirms its lantern festival calendar through November 30
Lamphun’s 2026 lantern festival continues through November 30. A provincial agency reported attending the October 23 briefing at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai. This October 27 update distinguishes ongoing lantern hanging from November’s opening ceremony and processions.
Radio Thailand Lamphun’s calendar lists lantern offerings from October 1, the opening ceremony on November 14, the lantern procession on November 22, and the Mahachat sermon and lantern-offering ceremony on November 24. The festival ends November 30.
