การเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้มีผลโดยตรงต่อการวางแผนรายได้ การออกแบบหน้าชำระเงิน และภาระด้านความปลอดภัยของนักพัฒนา โดย Apple ระบุว่าเพิ่มข้อคุ้มครองเด็กเมื่อมีการใช้ระบบชำระเงินภายนอกด้วย

Apple’s revised business terms for apps in the European Union took effect on October 1, 2026. The update adjusts commission rates, permits alternative payment choices alongside Apple’s In‑App Purchase system, and broadens eligibility for alternative marketplaces and web distribution.
The changes affect revenue planning, payment-screen design and compliance obligations. Apple also says new child-safety protections apply when alternative payments are offered through the App Store.
A notable shift is the replacement of the Core Technology Fee with a 5% Core Technology Commission on digital transactions in apps distributed outside the App Store. Developers should review the full agreement and model costs against their own distribution strategy before opting into any route.
