ความร่วมมือด้านวัฒนธรรมกับการศึกษามีทิศทางใหม่ หลังการหารือระหว่างกระทรวงวัฒนธรรมและกระทรวงศึกษาธิการวันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน ซึ่งกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมรายงานรายละเอียดวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน ประเด็นหนึ่งคือการนำความรู้เรื่องชุดไทยพระราชนิยมและผ้าไทยเข้าสู่การเรียนรู้ร่วมสมัย โดยเชื่อมประวัติศาสตร์ งานช่าง และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น
แนวทางที่หารือรวมถึงใช้พิพิธภัณฑ์และแหล่งวัฒนธรรมเป็นพื้นที่เรียนรู้ ฝึกทักษะออกแบบและผลิตภัณฑ์ ตลอดจนพัฒนาบุคลากรซ่อมเครื่องดนตรีไทย การบูรณาการจะอาศัยหลักสูตรและเครือข่ายสถานศึกษาที่มีอยู่ โดยย้ำไม่เพิ่มภาระครูและนักเรียน ทั้งนี้ยังเป็นกรอบความร่วมมือที่ต้องกำหนดพื้นที่นำร่อง ผู้รับผิดชอบ และวิธีวัดผลต่อไป ที่ประชุมยังเสนอใช้ Thai Textiles Trend Book เป็นแหล่งความรู้ด้านสี วัสดุ และการออกแบบ

Thai ministries plan cultural learning through textiles and heritage
Cooperation between Thailand’s culture and education ministries is taking shape following talks on 5 November, with details published by the Department of Cultural Promotion on 6 November. One strand would bring knowledge of Thai royal-style dress and textiles into contemporary learning, connecting history with craft skills and local knowledge.
The discussions also covered museums and cultural sites as learning spaces, design and product skills, and training people to repair traditional Thai musical instruments. Existing curricula and school networks would support the work, with an emphasis on avoiding extra burdens for teachers and students. Pilot areas, responsibilities and evaluation still need to be developed; this is not confirmation of a new nationwide curriculum already in use. Thai Textiles Trend Book was also proposed as a resource for colour, materials and design.
