กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยารายงานพยากรณ์ประจำวันที่ 17 ตุลาคม 2569 ว่า กรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑลมีโอกาสเกิดฝนฟ้าคะนองครอบคลุมร้อยละ 60 ของพื้นที่ พร้อมลมกระโชกแรงบางแห่ง ช่วงอุณหภูมิที่คาดไว้คือ 26–27 องศาเซลเซียสในตอนต่ำสุด และ 33–35 องศาเซลเซียสในตอนสูงสุด พยากรณ์ฉบับนี้ใช้ตั้งแต่ 06.00 น. วันนี้ถึง 06.00 น. วันที่ 18 ตุลาคม
พื้นที่ที่ต้องติดตามฝนหนักเป็นพิเศษยังอยู่ในภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ ภาคกลางคาดมีฝนร้อยละ 40 ของพื้นที่ ส่วนภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ทั้งสองฝั่งร้อยละ 60 ตัวเลขนี้เป็นสัดส่วนพื้นที่ที่คาดมีฝน ไม่ได้หมายความว่าทุกจุดจะมีฝนตกตลอดทั้งวัน
กรมอุตุฯ เตือนความเสี่ยงน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลากจากฝนหนักหรือฝนสะสม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาและที่ลุ่ม ผู้เดินทางควรตรวจประกาศท้องถิ่นและสภาพเส้นทางก่อนออกเดินทาง ส่วนทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยอาจมีคลื่นสูงเกิน 2 เมตรบริเวณฝนฟ้าคะนอง จึงควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือผ่านแนวพายุฝน

Thailand’s 17 October Forecast Keeps Heavy-Rain Risks in Central, Eastern and Southern Areas
Bangkok and surrounding provinces face thunderstorms over 60% of the area in the Thai Meteorological Department’s 17 October 2026 forecast. Isolated gusts are possible, with temperatures forecast at 26–27°C overnight and 33–35°C at the daytime maximum. The bulletin covers 06:00 on 17 October to 06:00 on 18 October, Thailand time.
Central Thailand has a 40% forecast rain coverage, compared with 60% in the east and on both southern coasts. These percentages describe the expected area affected; they do not indicate uninterrupted rain at every location.
The department highlights isolated heavy rain in central, eastern and southern areas, with flash-flood and runoff risks particularly near hillsides and low-lying ground. Travellers should check local warnings and road conditions. Waves can exceed two metres in thunderstorms in both the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand; vessels should avoid storm cells.
Satellite imagery provides regional cloud context rather than a location-specific rainfall prediction. This report was checked against the department’s daily bulletin and satellite service on 17 October; later updates may change the outlook.
