Bastion Receives Conditional Approval for a National Trust Bank
Stablecoin infrastructure company Bastion has received conditional approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a national trust bank charter. The step could help the company serve financial institutions and large enterprises under a more formal regulatory structure.
Bastion provides white-label stablecoin issuance, reserve management, wallets and payment infrastructure. Conditional approval is not the same as final authorization, and the company must satisfy regulatory requirements before full operations begin.
