Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Joins Xbox Game Pass Today
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War joined Xbox Game Pass on September 8, 2026. It is available through the cloud, on consoles and on PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass members, subject to each plan’s platform access.
Xbox Wire says the campaign follows a Cold War espionage story set in the early 1980s, taking players to locations including East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey and Soviet KGB headquarters.
The game also includes Multiplayer and Zombies. The official Xbox store lists cross-platform multiplayer and co-op capabilities, cloud saves and several local and online player options. Availability can vary by device, region and subscription tier.
Players should check storage requirements and their active membership before downloading. The title carries mature-content warnings for intense violence, strong language and other adult themes, so families should review age ratings and parental controls.
