Blizzard has announced it's plans for forthcoming season in the game WoW cataclysm Gold at its BlizzConline event. They contain major modifications to the long-running card game in addition to the regular assortment of expansion cards. The new expansion is, Forged in the Barrens as well as a brand-new Set of Core, Classic Mode, as well as the introduction of a new mode known as WoW Cataclysm Classic to come at some point later in the year. The 2021 season has been called"the Year of the Gryphon.

A few fans had guessed after a short teaser, new expansion for spring takes place within the Horde area of Kalimdor. It's known as Forged In the Barrens and will include 135 cards to take home.

Blizzard presented a selection of Forged in the Barrens cards during the event's unveiling to show players an insight into the flavour of the expansion. Forged within the Barrens can also be the first of two major modifications for WoW Cataclysm Classic that will keep coming with the Core set, as well as Spell Schools.
